Stunning Bouquet Blue Overlay Dish

This is a simply wonderful blue crystal overlay dish. As with all of our pieces they have been stored for over 20 years and are in an as new, perfect condition.

Each item has been individually hand blown and hand cut, a quite painstakingly difficult task I am sure you would imagine. Each item is also engraved with the German Artisits name or initials. These touches all help to make these pieces totally unique.

The particular cut or design of this item is called Bouquet. It is a simply outstandingly intricate design, as you can see in our pictures. You will find other items in the same design up for auction in our listings.

The dish is made from fine white crystal and is overlaid with blue crystal before it is cut to give these stunning effects. You will see from our picture that the dish still has the original gold Meissen tags stuck to it. In some cases the glue has come unstuck over the years and they have fallen. Each item is also engraved with either the famous Meissen 'M' or the word Meissen. Again this was at the artists discretion. The sound of these glasses if you give them a small flick is intense. The sign of the very finest in crystal work!

The dish measures in at 6cm high and has a diamter of 14.5cm at the top.
